1.Service Principles:

TSS provides high quality, stable and reliable inspection services.

2. Inspection Requirements

TSS inspects the goods mainly according to customer's requirements, also combining industry and national standards.

3. Types of Test

1). Normal types:

a. Ultrasonic Test ( UT standards and levels)

During test, inspectors licensed with national UT certificate determine the quantity of indications and the type of indications.

b. Hardness test

According to the heat treatment condition and hardness range, portable Leeb hardness tester is the main test device, and its main feature is portability. The test result is only considered as relatively accurate for reference.

c. Surface test:

Inspectors check the exterior condition of surface and two ends of each piece to see if there is crack(crack on the surface cannot be detected by our UT tester), cavity, edge chipping, grinding, etc and then make some processing based on the actual situation.

d. Size:

Caliper is used for testing diameter, while tapeline is for testing length and width.

e. Quantity and Weight:

Inspectors record the actual quantity and weight of goods.

2) Special types of test

a. Chemical composition test:

Spectrometer is usually used for this test. It is efficient and has high accuracy which is up to 1ppm.

b. Mechanical properties test:

Mechanical properties include tensile strength, yield strength, ratio of elongation, reduction of area, impact value etc. Tests of tensile strength, yield strength, ratio of elongation, reduction of area are conducted by the same mechanical drawing test. Impact value is acquired by charpy impact test.

c. Macrostructure test:

Macrostructure tests include porosity grade and segregation grade etc.

d. Microstructure test

Microstructure tests include grain size grade, non-metallic inclusion grade and metallurgical structure, etc.
